compassionate community with the lift center for family development as its base, this network establishes a sensible flow of support for individuals and families facing disability issues. Additional value is seen in the center as a working model that can be easily duplicated as a resource for many communities to extend whole life development and grass-roots community connections. lift care groups are a focal point for the center’s activities. These practical small groups provide a natural environment for people to find life beyond the limitations of disability through faith and friendship. Some groups are a curriculum-based format, while others are designed to simply connect through community. The lift Life center is a hub of community and professional activities allowing for personal development and ministry advancement. lift camping presentations are an annual highlight to the events and activities of the Eleos’ focus. On an average, our camp team will collaborate with 8 camping programs to bring inspiration and insight about the disability life as it relates to whole-life development to more than 1000 participants. Eleos’ presentations of heart-warming stories, insights for life, and humour filled drama are sought after to complete the camping experience. |
